Orton’s Well On Track for 25K Fundraising Target

Our MD, Andrew Lowe, completed a challenging boxing match last Saturday as part of our goal to raise £25,000 for charity.

Andrew took part in the Ultra White Collar Boxing match at the Wolverhampton Civil Hall on Saturday 1st October which, although didn’t see him pick up the winning prize, did see significant funds added to our £25,000 target.

The boxing match followed hot on the heels of other challenging events undertaken by our team, including the Tough Mudder obstacle course in Cheshire, a steep climb and descent of Mt Snowdon’s challenging Pyg and Miner’s Track routes, and charity bike rides – to name but a few.

Andrew Lowe explained: “As a team, we’ve managed to raise 42% of our target by taking part in these events throughout the summer, and thanks to the fantastic support we’ve received from each other, family and friends, and clients and partners.

“To have reached our 25th anniversary in business is a huge cause for celebration and which is why we decided give something back.”

The firm’s chosen charities are the Peter Pan Nursery for Children with Special Needs, the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Cancer Research UK.
